Enjoy an adventure-filled day of white water rafting amidst the beauty of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Along with your own personal guide, you will maneuver over water gaps and smooth flowing rapids. With Class I - III rapids, experience an ideal blend of thrills and leisurely floating.  Your trip allows time for swimming and relaxation too, the best of all white water rafting worlds. Your experience includes:

• Guided rafting with your own personal trained guide through mellow waters, over Class I -III rapids, multiple riffles and ledges and a variety of challenging rapids if you desire.
• Experienced, personable guide in each raft.  Your guide is trained in river safety, boat handling skills, certified in CPR and First Aid.
• All taxes and user fees are included in your price, no additional fees apply.
• Well maintained safety inspected, clean rafts 
• All equipment and safety gear including helmet, life jacket, and paddle are provided. Wet suits available for Spring and Fall rafting, with prior notice.
• Shuttle service to the launching area.

vital information

Participants must be 7 years or older and weigh at least 50 pounds.  White Water rafting fits any skill level, no previous rafting experience necessary.  Just a comfort level with water activities is needed -- you will get wet.

what to bring

Bring a change of clothes, towel, water bottle, suntan lotion.  Please leave all valuables at home.

what to wear

In warmer months: Quick dry clothing including t-shirt and shorts, bathing suit (under clothing), hat, sunglasses, old tennis shoes, sports sandals or water shoes. Don't forget the sunscreen.

In cooler months: Synthetic shirt, wool or fleece top, quick dry, waterproof or synthetic pants, waterproof jacket, old hat, wool or fleece socks and old tennis shoes or water shoes. NO COTTON, including jeans and sweatshirts.  You will get wet!

Mother Nature provides a variety of rafting opportunities: Spring - Bigger waves and high adventure await you. Summer - The waters are at normal levels providing excellent rafting conditions plus the opportunity to swim and enjoy fun in the sun. 2 - 4.5 hours depending on water levels and trip size. Please arrive 1/2 hour prior to rafting departure time.

Not conducive to spectators -- come on get wet and join in the fun!  Groups may request a photographer to capture the moment, with advance notice.

Does not apply.  However, if necessary, you may reschedule your trip to a later date (please give 3 days notice) to better accommodate your schedule.

important information

All participants are required to sign a Waiver of Liability prior to rafting.  Rafting trips run rain or shine.  However, raft size, number of guests per craft, and length of trip due to abnormal river flow and conditions may change for safety measures.  Alcohol is not permitted on this experience.
